For over 25 years we have been providing counselling and support services for people who have experienced torture or trauma as a result of war, political violence or persecution in their country of origin or while fleeing those countries. STTARS is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Officer to join our team.
The Finance Officer has primary responsibility for duties including payroll, MYOB, balance sheet reconciliations, preparation and submission of GST, data entry with Excel, payment of accounts, invoicing, insurance compliance, preparation of financial reports and other tasks as required.
Our ideal candidate is extremely organised, displays initiative and has proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounts payable/receivable officer.
Your attention to detail is flawless; you will have well-developed analytical skills, you will be willing to support the management team as well as wider organisational operations and can positively demonstrate your ability to work well within a team and in an autonomous environment.
